CHAPTER 60

Klaus led Kendel into the big mansion. Two things were on Kendel's mind.

Klaus was either playing him or he was real. However, whatever the case, he was ready for either of them.

"Welcome to my abode." Klaus opened the door leading the way for Kendel to go in.

"This place is adorable, boss. It's massive." Kendel appreciated gazing at the exquisite chandeliers. A plush, velvet sofa dominated the centre, adorned with elegant accent pillows that added a touch of colour. The room was bathed in soft, natural light from a row of tall windows framed by luxurious drapes.

A stunning chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, inviting glow. Edwin's eyes were drawn to the intricately designed coffee table, made from polished wood and adorned with carefully arranged books and a vase of fresh flowers.

The walls featured a collection of tasteful artwork, and a grand piano sat in one corner, its keys reflecting the ambient light.
