Chapter 42(A bad day)

Once she was done making the call, she hurried back. Beckoned on her boss that she was done eating and they took a ride to Evelyn's house.

He got a negative report at her house, which made him stress out.

"Who could have gotten in?" She reasoned with him and all he could do was shake his head, disappointed.

"How about the CCTV footage?" Evelyn pressed on. He explained that they found nothing and only had Sophia walking in late at night.

"All of the footage?"

"Yes Evelyn" he cussed pacing to and fro. Since his arrival he haven't taken a seat and was just worried.

"Who do you think would want to have it?" Evelyn interrogated and his reply was;

"Everyone, everyone is after that stuff stucked in the chest which I have no knowledge of"

"I'm aware of that, you don't need to remind me, have you sent some of your men to look into it"

"Yes, I haven't heard a news from them yet"
