Chapter 65(Playing smart)

She was whined when she arrived at his mansion. The wearied lady glanced at her watch and then at her boss's study room.

That was the place they were to meet after her research for today, but it seems he was delaying.

Natalie shook her head negatively and intended to leave when she bumped into Lucian. He made her shudder rather than apologizing.

His glare at her caused her to wince in silence as she stepped a distance away from him, but he said;

“What's your plan with him?”

Natalie scoffed, attempting to look brave in his eyes but deep inside her, she was panicking.

“Why do you want to know? It's between my boss and I” she snapped, crossing her arms and praying Alex shows up quickly.

Lucian narrowed his brows at her and furthered in his interrogations.

“I know you have that control…”

“Hold on, why do you guys keep blaming me over a remote button which I have no idea about?” She cuts in with an innocent gaze, and Lucian mocked her.

He knew this girl would act like though she was innoce
