After getting off the plane and exiting the airport, Richard and Daisy ordered a taxi and asked to be driven to the Phoenix Hotel located on the main island of South River.

South River is a large city consisting of dozens of small islands scattered around a main island. With so many small islands scattered in South River, it is only natural that the place is likely to be used as a headquarters for criminal groups.
