Clair, Jose and Daisy all squinted at the jewelery box Richard had pulled out. At the top of the box, an embossed inscription made by Mademoiselle was elegantly displayed. Which meant that the jewelery in the box should also have been Mademoiselle's jewelery.

Clair gulped, not really understanding what Richard had just done. Meanwhile, Jose's heart almost felt like it was falling because Jose still remembered the appearance of the most luxurious and most expensive necklace on Mademoiselle.

“Daisy, just so you know, the necklace that Jose refers to as the best necklace on Mademoiselle is this necklace that is in my hands. I bought it for my wife, for you." Richard handed Daisy a lavishly accented white gold necklace. Daisy gulped, unable to fully believe Richard's words yet.
