Part 5

Finally, the wedding day between Daisy Miller and Richard Forger has arrived. If it weren't for the Miller’s Family, maybe the wedding preparations couldn't have been completed in just three days. But, everything can be taken care of with money and connections. And, Miller’s Family have them all.

“Daisy! Remember, take good care of your husband. I don't want him to embarrass our whole family. If he does something stupid, you have to bear everything yourself and can't involve all of us!” Sandra messaged Daisy moments before they entered the wedding hall.

Daisy nodded and looked at her future husband. “Richard, did you hear that? You have to keep an attitude. This wedding was attended by my grandfather's colleagues. They're all important people and you should behave well."

At that time, Richard seemed to show an uneasy attitude. Like there was something he was holding on to. As all eyes were on Richard, Richard finally had no reason not to hide it any longer. Richard took a deep breath before finally confessing something.

“Grandma and Daisy and all. I want to be honest that I owe about five hundred thousand dollars to a man named George Warren. I invited him to this wedding and had said that I would pay off my debt today. Can I borrow some money from Granny first?”

Daisy's mother and father were the most shocked by Richard's confession. Daisy's father quickly apologized to Sandra and promised to educate his son-in-law not to be impudent. While the Clair family and the Bellatrix family seemed to enjoy the show.

“Richard! How can you promise to pay off your debt when you have no money?!” Sandra snapped at Richard but remained in a hushed tone. If it weren't for her husband accepting Richard, maybe Sandra would have kicked Richard out that very day.

"This is all Daisy's fault!" Bellatrix suddenly spoke up. "It's obvious that Daisy failed to educate her husband-to-be to be proper in our family!"

Hurriedly, Daisy's father came forward and wanted to explain to Sandra. “Mother… It's not Daisy's fault! This is absolutely my fault as Daisy's father and Richard's future father-in-law. As for Richard's debt, we won't involve you, Mom. We will use our assets to pay off our son-in-law's debts. Please don't blame Daisy for this.”

Daisy's father begged in a pitiful voice. In his heart, he couldn't wait to beat Richard, but, of course, not on that day.

“Hash… Since the wedding ceremony is about to be held, I consider this matter to be over. Also today, pay off George Warren's five hundred-thousand-dollar debt. I don't want the Miller family's son-in-law to owe someone a debt!” Sandra muttered then walked away by massaging her head that felt dizzy.

***

The wedding ceremony between Richard Forger and Daisy Miller has ended. When all the invited guests were enjoying the dishes that were being served, Richard asked Daisy's permission to look for the figure of George Warren whom he had invited.

Richard walked along the round tables. Unintentionally, his shoulder nudged the body of a man who was drinking wine. The wine nearly spilled, causing the young man to curse and stare at Richard.

"What?!!!" The young man was shocked and almost choked on his own spit. “How can a Cleaning Maid dress like a bride, oh wait… Could it be… Richard Forger, the son-in-law of the Millers, is really you?!!! My Ex-Cleaning Maid?”

It was Luis Jung from Westfield Corporation who was attending an invitation from the Miller’s family. Richard took a deep breath because he didn't expect to meet Luis Jung at such a time. Richard remembered Sandra's order not to make trouble. So, in order to avoid chaos, Richard nodded and then apologized to Luis Jung.

"I still have urgent business. Thank you for coming to my wedding." Richard muttered briefly then walked away.

But, it's not Luis Jung if he just let Richard go.

“Hey, Cleaning Maid, you have no manners! I'm not done talking to you yet!” Luis Jung deliberately shouted so that many people would pay attention to what he said.

“Cleaning Maid? Who is the cleaning maid meant by Luis Jung?” People started whispering curiously.

"Wait, isn't Luis Jung's finger pointing at Mister Miller's son-in-law? What does this mean?"

"How can Luis Jung call the son-in-law of the Miller family that way?"

Richard then thought angrily. When he tried hard to suppress the commotion, in fact Luis Jung actually started a big mess. Richard tried to keep walking without looking back.

“Bastard!” Luis Jung cursed. “Richard Forger, Son-in-law of the Millers! Are you pretending to forget that four days ago you just prostrated at my feet?!” Luis Jung shouted again. Because it clearly mentioned the name of the Miller family's son-in-law, all the invited guests understood that the person called Cleaning Maid by Luis Jung was indeed Richard Forger.

“Prostrate at Luis Jung's feet?!”

“What drama is this again?!”

Sandra, who heard Luis Jung's words, seemed to walk quickly towards the commotion. The Clair’s family, the Bellatrix’s family, and the Daisy’s family walked with Sandra toward the scene of the commotion.

“Richard! Our business is not over! You must remember the message I wrote to you. Since it's your wedding day, you just need to bow down and wipe my shoes, I'll forget about your last mistake! What do you think? You can thank me later because I still have mercy! Ha ha ha!"

The invited guests began to be surprised. One by one everyone took out their cell phones. Obviously they do not want to miss to perpetuate the chaos. It is undeniable that the invited guests hoped that Richard would really prostrate at Luis Jung's feet, even though they had no idea what the dispute between the two was.

“Luis Jung! We can finish our business another time. It's my wedding day, I don't want to ruin this happy day."

"Ha ha ha! Cleaning Maid like you don't have the authority to give me a choice in my decisions! Hurry and prostrate at my feet or I will add to your suffering in the future!” Luis Jung did not accept Richard's proposal.

"What is this?!" Daisy screamed desperately. Her name really got worse when her husband on her wedding day knelt at the feet of an invited guest. When Daisy wanted to mediate, Bellatrix's hand grabbed Daisy's elbow.

"Cousin! Do not interfere. It's your husband's business with the CEO of Westfield Corporation. Remember, the Jung family is our equal but the Jung Corporation has many loyal colleagues. If our family offends him, we will suffer heavy losses!”

"Bella's right, Daisy!" Clair joined in. “Let your husband prostrate himself at Luis Jung's feet. As long as it doesn't affect our family cooperation, I think it's only your husband who will bear the loss and embarrassment!”

Sandra shook her head for many times. She was in a dilemma, letting Richard kneel down would humiliate her family, but Luis Jung is also a person who should not be offended.

“Richard! This is your personal business and has nothing to do with the Miller’s Family. I'll go and you go ahead and finish your business!” Sandra turned around and left just like that while Bellatrix and Clair clearly didn't want to miss an interesting show.

“Daisy… Do you want me to knelt at his feet?” Richard then asked Daisy. "I could have beaten him up if you'd let me, Daisy."

Daisy shook her head quickly. "No! You better bow down at Luis Jung's feet!”

All the invited guests were getting excited watching the show. Slowly, Richard prepared to drop to his knees. When his knees almost touched the floor, a man in his sixties came running up to the commotion.

"What's the mess in here?!" Carl Jung asked his son, Luis Jung. Luis Jung briefly informs his father and proudly accuses Richard of being a crappy man worth playing around with.

Carl Jung stared intently at Richard's face. He was a little surprised because he felt he had recognized the young man's face. Considering that the figures that Carl Jung knew were not ordinary figures, Carl Jung tried to dig into his memory.

And, when he remembered something related to Richard Forger's face, Carl Jung's body went limp. His knees collapsed to the ground. The number one person in the Westfield Corporation crawled over to Richard who was standing on two knees.

“Sir… You stand up, pleaser. Forgive my son's impudence. Oh, I will beat him mercilessly. Mister… Heavenly Dragon, I will pay a huge compensation for this trouble my son has caused! Please forgive us…” Carl Jung fell at Richard's feet and begged for forgiveness in a low voice so that many people could not hear Carl Jung's words.

Richard took a deep breath. He didn't expect anyone to recognize his real identity in Roxburgh City. Because Carl Jung insisted, Richard finally stood up.

“You! Rancid bastard! Quickly kowtow to Mister Forger!” Carl Jung, who was still in a kneeling position, then glared at Luis Jung and forced his son to kneel at Richard Forger's feet.

“Wh… What?!!!!” Luis Jung gulped in disbelief. "Father?! What does this mean?!"
