DINNER FOR TWO

A BLUE NIGHT

The days went by gradually.

Grandpa continued to stay in the two bedroom apartment with care from Reuben.

Anabelle made it a part of her routine to check on grandpa Roland every morning before going to work and of course with some items.

Grandpa was always happy to see her.

Reuben had also made it his routine to get lunch for Anabelle every day at her workplace.

In the evenings, both Reuben and Anabelle would be at grandpa's house and would have dinner like a family.

The bond between Reuben and Anabelle grew stronger with each passing day.

The two became so fond of each other that they could not stay a day without seeing or hearing from each other.

One evening, on closing from work, Reuben invited Anabelle over to dinner.

She called Anabelle on the phone and it was answered on the first ring.

“ Hello Anabelle, good evening, closed from work yet?” Reuben greeted as she answered the call.
