Vincent received a stern warning from the Black Knight for not doing his job properly. He was ordered to take one of Edward's vital organs. However, he has yet to do so.

Evidenced by the threat in the blast message received by Vincent on his phone screen. They continued to urge Vincent to execute Edward immediately.

Vincent couldn't do it. For this reason, Black Knight reprimanded him by blowing up the Ferris wheel that Vincent and Milea were riding. Temporary conclusions lead to that.
