174. The Fight.

"Lucas, what the hell is going on? Why are you being suspected for Kelly's death?" Ivy questioned on the drive back home. She had been going on about how she was upset that he would keep such a thing from her, and that she was suspicious of his behaviors lately.

"I have no idea!" He still hadn't been able to accept the fact that Kelly was dead just like that. He never actually liked her but he never wished her death at the same time.

"What is going on with you Lucas? I don't seem to understand you anymore. Ever since my mother suggested we go on a trip to Georgia, you turned yourself into a stranger at home. You barely talk to me and you never eat at home anymore. Does it bother you that much that I finally agreed with my mother on one thing?!"

He kept mute. With the way Ivy was getting steamed up, pouring out his mind would only make things worse and he wasn't in the mood for a fight.
