44. Mother Daughter Bond.

Ivy was alone, again. Ever since her accident, she was always indoors. She couldn't go to work, neither could she go for her occasional strolls. She really hated being confined to that stupid chair.

Doctor Julie said she was getting better, but she didn't feel any different. Sure she was starting to regain her sense of feeling in her legs, but they were still too heavy for her to move.

She felt so helpless.

She heard her mother's usual three knocks on the door and she went to open the door. "My Darling, are you okay? How's the fever?"

"Better mother." The reason for her obvious concern was because Ivy had called her mother earlier that she was sick and she needed her mother's care. "Thank you for coming so early." She said, even though her mother wasn't really early. She had called her by seven thirty, before Lucas left for work. And she was only arriving, nearly four hours later.
