68. Family Meeting: Conclusion.

So far the meeting had been very unproductive. They hadn't discussed the main reason of their gathering, instead they were getting in each other's faces. Ivy who was always calm was inflamed, coming up against her mother at every given opportunity and Blanche wasn't ready to admit that she was wrong.

Lucas didn't interfere for two reasons. One, he didn't have the strength to deal with Blanche and her rabble rouser attitude. And two, he believed that if they were going to get anywhere with their meeting, they would have to pour out all that was on their mind.

"You're making a big deal out of nothing Ivy. This Platana issue shouldn't be a reason for you to hate me." Blanche defended herself, annoying Lucas more than he already was before.

"That's the thing with you mother, you never know when to admit that you're wrong. I'm not angry about Platana, I'm angry about the fact that you're blaming me for all this."
