78. The Baby Mama.

All through the drive home, Ivy didn't say a word and Lucas knew she was still disturbed by the meeting they had. He had to admit, even he was bothered, he had never seen Milo that angry before. Sure they hadn't exactly been buddies but he always just acted like Lucas never existed.

All the tension was because of Platana, if Ivy's parents were certaim that Platana was under control, Lucas was sure they wouldn't go to all these lengths. He really hoped detective Jones's investigation would yield positive results…and soon.

"Hey Ivy, what would you want for lunch?" He asked, trying to cheer her up.

"I don't know. Whwt do you want?"

"Hmm…how about we go for ice cream?"

"For lunch?" She smiled as she stared up at him.

"Yeah. I'm suddenly craving for vanilla ice cream, should we get some?"

Her face lit up and soon the usual sweet smile that Lucas fell in love with had brightened up her face. "Should we?" She asked, grinning from ear to ear like a little girl.
