97. The Sentence.

"Mr Conrad Millie, is it?"

"Yes, that is correct."

"What is your relationship with Mr Platana?"

"We're long time business partners."

"Okay. Would you mind explaining more about your business?"

"Well…uh…must I?"

"You don't have to but it doesn't matter. We have your voice recording and we can still charge you to court either you cooperate or not."

"You can't sue me, I have done nothing wrong." He insisted, pride emanating from every word he spoke.

"Mr Millie, you're involved with Mr Platana which means you are involved in this case. If you don't speak the truth, you could be sentenced to fourteen years imprisonment for lying while under oath in the court of law. And you could also be charged for aiding and abetting, meaning you get the same sentence Mr Platana gets."

Millie looked shaken up by the legal threat and Lucas could see that he was cracking. "Please I'll tell you everything I know. Just, help me." He pleaded.
