CHAPTER 89

Waldric stood motionless in the middle of the increasingly empty room, his hands clenched tightly, trying to contain the raging emotions within him. Every vein in his neck appeared tense, his eyes filled with boiling hatred as he watched Asher leave. This defeat felt incredibly painful, and he felt humiliated in front of everyone, especially the employees he had hoped would support him.

Waldric glanced toward Liamo, who was standing in the corner of the room as if giving a clear signal without needing to say a word. Their eyes met, and though reluctant, Liamo understood Waldric's intent. With a subtle nod of his head, Liamo began to instruct the employees and other directors to leave the room. One by one, they exited, leaving Waldric alone with his overflowing anger.
