Chapter 151
Kraig walked into the precinct, following the directions of a police officer, and found his way to the homicide department.

He knew he garnered attention as he walked through the precinct—from the entrance to the reception and down to the homicide department. Eyes followed him, whether they belonged to cops or criminals. Everybody stared.

On any other day, Kraig would have been sure that he couldn't walk into the homicide department without blushing furiously at the attention. But right now, he was angry, in a hurry, and desperately wanted to get Leah arrested.

The superfluously large precinct added to the irritation he was feeling. He kept walking but was still yet to find the department he was looking for, and there were quite a number of people there, for some reason, wouldn't move out of the way.

After many anger-inducing incidents, Kraig finally stopped in front of a door. He walked in and saw that there were about seven to ten tables; he had passed by a lot of doors, peering
