Chapter 153
Kraig walked back home and couldn't get the incident out of his mind. He tried to shake off how he was feeling, tried to act like he wasn't affected, but no matter how hard he fought back the tears, he just couldn't win, and he was reduced to crying like a baby.

He sat down on a step of the staircase and bawled his eyes out. He had been told not to blame himself for what happened to her, but how could he not? And how is it that even though he wasn't to be blamed, he was suffering this much.

The woman he loved didn't want anything to do with him. She pushed him away, demanded that he let her be, requested for him to stay away from her family. She wanted nothing to do with him.
