Jade had run so fast that she didn't see Wynn standing there by the door. She had overheard their conversation. She hated the fact that Kraig did not come to her to confide in her, but rather he had gone to Jade. She understood the reason why Jade had to know, but something in her wanted him to come to her first.

But he didn't.

Rather, they had argued, talked against each other, and eventually ended up hurting each other by their words.

However, after coming across this knowledge that his frustration had not been just from talking to her, she felt rather hopeful. She felt that maybe with her presence, he was going to feel better.
