"But then, I'll have to inform Cinderella about this," I say with a smirk, fully confident in her ability to help. Mike looks surprised by my decision.

"Did you think getting Cinderella involved is the best thing to do?" Mike asks skeptically. "Did you think she'll understand?" I nod my head, not entirely certain, but still holding onto my belief in her.

"When are you informing her?" Mike asked, his voice tinged with concern as he furrowed his brow.

"As soon as possible," I replied, a sense of urgency evident in my voice. I saw Mike nod his head, understanding the importance of the situation. Retrieving my phone from my pocket, I fumbled for Cinderella's number, a mix of anxiety and determination coursing through my veins.

"Hello," Cinderella responded, her voice soft yet filled with curiosity, "Cinderella speaking, who am I speaking with?" Her innocent reply caused me to scoff, a bitter and ironic reaction given the circumstances.
