Nathalie was puzzled, her voice laced with confusion.

"What did you mean by you have a year to leave? What are you trying to do? Are you playing pity vote with me right now?" she asked. Her words hung in the air, the tension palpable between them. He looked at her with sincerity in his eyes, his voice carrying a hint of desperation as he responded.

"No, I am for real. Please stay with me, even if it's just for a year. Your leaving me would truly be a great loss for me. I can die to before a year that they gave me." He says.

Nathalie's voice shifted from confusion to concern.

"Show me evidence. What is wrong with you? Why did you have a year to leave? You look fine and healthy to me," she said. He sighed, his eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and vulnerability.
