Renata stopped in her tracks and then smiled at Martano, saying, "That's better than me continuing to be used as collateral."

Martano widened his eyes at the answer given by Renata. Even his teeth were chattering. "You want to be removed as heir?" asked Martano then.

"Renata doesn't need that," Renata replied, then pulled her suitcase and walked with certainty out of the big house.

Gia looked even more panicked when she saw Renata leave without looking back. "Renata! You will regret it!" Gia shouted after Renata, but Gia's hand was held by Martano. Even though Gia screamed for Renata not to leave them, her husband still let Renata go with Darren. And his hands clenched in anger, staring hard with red eyes at Darren.

"In the name of Darren?" A taxi stopped in front of the two just as they were just leaving Martano's fence.

Darren nodded his head, then put his bag into the taxi and opened the door for Renata.

Even now, Darren hasn't said a word to his wife. Even so with Renata.

The
