"Well maybe because I never imagined you being okay with it! I thought it would be something that you would scorn on and scold me for doing!"

"Let me get this straight. You actually think that I would scold you for looking after me and trying to keep me from harm? Why would you think that?"

"You made it look like it was only your job to ensure that we were protected. I actually never believed that you would be okay with someone else trying to protect you. Seemed like you would get upset because it would be a sort of me stepping on your right as a man and that would hurt your ego."

"What? No, listen I am not upset with you at all. As a matter of fact I am very excited for this. Listen, I have a lot of things that are actually bothering me this period and I know that I may have taken some of the pressure out on how I was planning this but what you did is a wonderful thing and I don't think you should feel sad about it.
