Chapter Fourty Four

"What did you say to him?" The principal asked angrily.

"N-n-nothing sir." Chris stammered.

"I am giving you one last chance to either tell the truth or risk being punished severely for lying to me. Now tell me what you said to him?" The man shouted.

"I only told him the truth that he will be expelled and sir, he should be because he is always absent and he leaves school too early."

"And so? Do you think that he is like you who doesn't have anything better to do with his life? Apologize to him right now!" He ordered.

"What?" Chris was shocked and his voice came out like a whisper.

"I said, apologize to him right now or did I stutter?"

"But sir…"

"Apologize, young man!" When Chris noticed that the small vein in the man's forehead was about to pop, he turned slowly to Levi.

"I'm sorry for offending you." He whispered arrogantly.

"Apologize well," the principal insisted.

"I'm sorry for offending you." He said nicely.

"You're forgiven. And you can leave now," Levi dismissed him
