Chapter Thirty Three

The warm breeze that came with the morning was soothing to Levi. It brought him peace and made him feel energized.

He walked softly into the company, ready to meet the general manager but suddenly, he took a pause and stared at his wrist watch.

Thirty minutes past seven.

"Damn it!" Levi exclaimed. It was too early for Steven to be in the office.

"I knew I should have stayed in bed longer." He said to himself and headed to the receptionist with a sigh.

"Good morning," he greeted.

"Oh good morning sir. How are you doing this morning?"

"Very well, thank you. How are you?"

"I'm okay. How may I help you?"

"I wanted to inquire if Steven has made it to the office already."

"Umm, no sir. He usually resumes by 8 o'clock."

"I thought as much. Okay then, I guess I will just wait for him then."

"Alright sir."

Levi found a comfortable spot and sat down quietly with the latest edition of Forbes magazine in hand.
