Miller’s Threats

Mira's joy quickly turned to disbelief as Kim's words sank in. She felt a pang of hurt in her chest, but she refused to accept Kim's words. "But Kim, don't you love me anymore?" she pleaded, her voice crammed with desperation.

Kim's heart twinged at the sight of Mira's heartbreak, but he remained firm in his words. "Mira, I can't be with someone who betrayed me," he replied gently, sounding as real as possible. "I deserve better than that. I gave you a chance, I loved you but you betrayed and disappointed me when I needed a friend the most, you made a mockery of me. Please, Mira, I have no grudges but we can't be an item."

Mira's eyes welled up with tears, her bottom lip trembling as she struggled to hold back her emotions. "But I love you, Kim," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
