Edward took out a silk scarf from his pocket and carefully wrapped it around Charles' eyes, making sure that he could not see anything. The room was plunged into darkness as the blindfold was secured in place.

After opening the box, Edward retrieved a small pill and placed it gently on Charles' right palm.

"This pill will significantly enhance your organs' functioning and accelerate the healing process by hundreds of times," Edward explained cautiously. "However, there is a potential risk. If something goes awry, it could cause permanent damage to your body. Are you ready?"

Charles nodded hesitantly, his heart pounding with apprehension. He trusted Edward, but the possibility of irreversible damage was a daunting prospect. With a deep breath, he swallowed the pill and waited.
