Edward was taken aback by Debra's abrupt interruption and her tone of voice. He had tried to be respectful and contribute to the conversation, but Debra had dismissed him yet again. He felt insulted by her dismissal of his opinion, but he knew he had to keep his cool.

"I beg your pardon?" he said, his voice still calm but with a hint of disbelief.

Debra sighed and rolled her eyes. "Look, I know you're trying to impress your boss with your charm or whatever, but let's be realistic here. You're not the one buying the car, but Miss is. So let's focus on her preferences, shall we?"

Edward felt disrespected, and it was clear that Debra had no intention of treating him with the same level of respect as Adele. However, he took a deep breath and tried to keep his cool, again.

"Excuse me," he said, trying to sound as polite as possible. "But I am the one who will be purchasing the car. She is here with me to offer her opinion and help me make a decision."
