"Valerie!," Mrs Meyer exclaimed, casting a glance at her husband who had a dark look on his face. He already wasn't pleased with her behaviour to show up late and now she's treating Leo with such disrespect. What would he think?

"You should show more respect to Mr Leo. He's your father's..."

"Don't worry mom. I and Mr Leo already met," Leo noticed the way she emphasised the word 'Mr Leo'. He looked away and snatched a tissue from the tissue box on the table to clean the coffee stain on his chest.

"I wonder who it was that said she is probably a young girl of five years," Jake mumbled amusedly. His voice wasn't loud but it was loud enough for Leo to hear and glare at him.

"Let me help you with it, Mr Leo. You are just making the stain spread even more," Valerie occupied the empty seat beside Leo and took a tissue. She moved closer and placed her hand on Leo's hand to stop him from dabbling the stain.
