143: Suspension.

The bulb usually placed just above the door of the operation theater displayed a red light for a long period of time till it finally changed to green and then switched off completely.

The door opened and doctors walked out. Nurses pushed out a stretcher occupying an unconscious Leo.

Detective Tom and Jake were waiting outside, on a bench when they pushed him out. The former's head was bandaged with a thin gauze while Jake was sitting on a wheelchair.

He was instructed by the doctor and nurses to be placed under administration and observation because of his fractured bones but he refused.

His boss was in the operation theater. No one knows what is going on so how could he be at rest in an operation theater?

If only he hadn't insisted they followed the ambulance to the hospital, this would never have happened. How would he explain this to Heaven or her granduncles?
