Chapter 34 - Pamela

Milan couldn't understand why he didn't feel any fear as he drove with Daniel to their unknown destination.

Milan couldn't remember the last time he was ever afraid. If he could remember, then it would be when he was still being treated like a slave under Ella.

He would fear Ella getting back home, and the dinner he prepared wasn't fully ready yet, or he hadn't completed all the horrendous chores she had dumped on him before she left for work.

Or the teacup he broke that belonged to Ella's mother.

Milan wasn't afraid anymore. Especially not of Daniel anymore.

"Okay. We're finally here!"

Daniel exclaimed as the car came to a halt before he stepped down from the back seat without waiting for the driver to open the door for him.

Milan, still seated at the back of the car, looked at the small house in front of them. Milan wondered who the house belonged to and why Daniel had brought him there.

The door was opened for him by Daniel himself, who beat his bodyguard to it.
