Chapter 48 - The Photoshoot

Milan sighs angrily as he walks into the meeting room with the board of directors already seated. They stared at his every move until he was sitting at the head of the table.

Milan intertwined his fingers and placed them on the table with boredom clear in his eyes. Milan was sick of the meetings the board called now and then, and he was always going to be their favourite topic.

After all, that was what Daniek had planned.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Reyes"

Aiden said in his usual strict tone. Milan ignored him and kept mute, earning a scoff from Aiden.

Aiden cleared his throat as he sent Milan a steern look.

"You were given an assignment which you failed to do within three days, and now it has been another three days before this meeting. Can you tell us what you have achieved and if you haven't been able to -"

Milan interrupted Aiden.

"I had a meeting with Mr. Diego and he agreed to support the company. "
