"I am not sure about that, sir," Marco answered honestly.

He wasn't sure if he would be stepping out of the class or just paying attention to this boring lesson.

"Don't play smart with me, Marco." the teacher warned.

Raina squeezed his hand and Marco knew to cut it out. He didn't want to offend his favorite nerd.

He met Raina's eyes and mouthed, "Are you okay?"

She nodded and averted her gaze but she still had that sad smile on her lips.

He brought out his phone and texted her, "Want to skip?"

Marco heard her phone vibrate and Raina picked it up, she looked at it and Marco relaxed when the smile on her lips became genuine.

"We could drive around till your mood brightens. I miss seeing your smile." he texted her.

Marco smiled brighter when he saw Raina blush.

"I am in," she said.

Marco cleared his throat lightly, directing the teacher's attention to him.
