Chapter Hundred And Fifty

VERA'S POV

I was lost in thoughts while walking back home. I felt so troubled, lost, dejected, and tired of it all. I couldn’t believe that Lord Daniel truly had his eyes on me in the school and what was more surprising was that it was my professor.

Now, I was in trouble seeing as Professor Darwin was ready to destroy my life if I didn’t do his bidding.

“Oh, gosh! What do I do about this?” I stomped my feet like a pouting child.
