Charles looked at Lincoln in disgust. He detested him with everything. That was downright cheap. Was he so desperate to have someone go down with him that he didn't make use of his senses?

Sandra on her part didn't say a word, her tears dropped her cheeks. Her problem was humiliation. Charles doubted she really thought she was going to be given a heavy sentence.
