Angela ought to feel rest-assured, and calm. Instead, she couldn't explain the nervous feeling that had come over her.

She sat on her bed, knees to her chest, and her phone in her hands, waiting until she'd see the news that Charles had passed away in a restaurant where some robbers had raided.

Everything about it was wrong. Although her mother had told her to keep calm, she just couldn't.

She had asked how things were going, and her mother had told her the men were on their way to ambush Charles at a restaurant he reserved for a company dinner.

Why would they attack him at a company dinner? Did they intend to kill others too? What if one of them managed to call the cops. She had tried to warn her mother, and ask them to pull back, but Mrs. Penny had told her they were professionals, and would kill Charles immediately he was identified.
