Chapter Sixty one

Charles drove back home, and when he got back home, he took a shower which relieved him of his tensed bones. He had a long day, and there was no time he dedicated to rest.

He smoothened his hair under the shower, and shook his hair again, then he scrubbed his body a little, and walked out of the bathroom.

After putting on his robe, he laid on his bed, staring up at the ceiling.

“Tomorrow is another day.” He muttered under his breath, and shut his eyes to sleep.

The next day, he got prepared for the meeting which he had been postponing for a while now; the Governor’s meeting with the board of members. He put a call through to his chief advisor which he had assigned for himself through a call.

“Good morning, sir.” The chief advisor greeted, formally.

“Good morning. I want you to set up a meeting with everyone necessary. Let’s meet in the conference room, and I should be there in an hour.” Charles instructed him, then hung up.

He went through his wardrobe, and brought out the best suit
