Chapter Twenty-one
The next morning, Vera arrived at Charles’ mansion when he was having breakfast. She looked excited as she walked in and greeted him.

“Good morning, Charles. I hope you had a great night.” She said, plopping down on a chair beside him.

“Good morning,” his eyes narrowed. “Is everything ok? You look like you have something to say.”

“Yes I do.”

“Well, go on. Tell me all about it.”

“When I went home yesterday, while checking out some places to hire security details for you, I found out there’s an auction happening at the Royal Oak Hotel today by 3pm.”

“What kind of auction?”

“There’s going to be a lot of things on sale but I think you would be interested in the high-tech machines that would auctioned. Every businessman in the city has their eyes on them because it will definitely improve efficiency in their companies. I think we should attend this auction.”
