After knocking for a while, he finally heard the sound of footsteps coming close to the door.

“Who’s at my door at this late hour?” The man spoke, sounding alert.

“It's me, Charles. Please open up.” Charles pleaded, hoping he was going to disregard the fact that he had given him a bad impression the first time.

“Charles?” The tech expert repeated, sounding baffled.

Then the door clicked open, and Charles fell to the ground immediately, still feeling a bit weak.

“Oh, my goodness. What’s wrong, Charles?” He asked, looking concerned as he tried to help him up.

“I got…” Charles tried to speak out, but he had used up the little strength he had gained, so he just lied helplessly in his arms.
