The roar of laughter filled the air. Chen Wu stood in the middle of the Tianlong Clan's training arena, his body trembling with exhaustion. In front of him, a large young man stepped forward with a disdainful smile.

"Chen Wu, do you really think you can be one of us? Trash like you are only fit to be servants in a stable," the young man sneered before his wooden stick hit Chen Wu in the stomach.

Chen Wu fell, biting her lip to endure the pain. Fresh blood seeped from the corner of his lips, but he didn't make a sound. For him, physical pain was nothing compared to the humiliation he received every day.

"He doesn't even know who his father is," a girl said with a sarcastic laugh. "A child without a father, born to a woman who is now a prisoner. Shameful!"

Chen Wu gritted his teeth, trying to get up, but his body was too weak. In the Tianlong Clan, every child was expected to show spiritual energy talent from an early age. However, Chen Wu, despite being 15 years old, had never felt a single beam of energy. This made him considered trash—a disgrace to the clan.

“That's enough,” an elder's voice echoed. The elder stepped into the center of the arena, his face full of hatred. "Chen Wu, starting today, you are prohibited from entering this arena. You will only pollute this place with your existence."

That insult was like the final straw for Chen Wu. Without saying anything, he got up slowly and left the arena accompanied by the laughter and ridicule of the other students. His steps were unsteady, his body was covered in wounds, but his eyes held a small fire that no one could see.

He walked towards a small river on the edge of the valley, where he usually stayed alone. There, he stared at his reflection on the surface of the water. His face was covered in wounds and blood, but more than that, he saw the image of a child broken by a world that gave him no chance.

"Why did I have to be born like this?" he whispered, voice full of pain. "Why should mother be punished because of me?"

he clenched his fists, shaking with anger and despair. However, behind the pain, something inside him slowly awakened. Chen Wu didn't know that behind his scorned blood, flowed a power that even the elders of the Tianlong Clan could not imagine.

That day, the gloomy sky witnessed a promise. Chen Wu swore, even though he was considered trash, he would find a way to prove them all wrong. One day, he will raise his head high and make those who insulted him kneel down to beg for forgiveness.

Chen Wu sat on the river bank, his body limp, his face covered in blood and mud. The cold night air pierced his bones, but the pain in his body was nothing compared to the humiliation he had just received. his heart was broken, not just by the blow, but by the fact that he was never considered to exist.

The calm river water reflected his face, the face of a child abandoned by the world. He clenched his fists, but they were shaking. His hands were too weak, like him.

“Why did I have to be born in this world?” he muttered, his voice barely audible.

However, that night did not provide an answer. Instead, the sound of footsteps approached from the direction of the forest, accompanied by disdainful laughter. Chen Wu looked up slowly. From behind the shadows of the trees, Lu Feng appeared with three other young men.

“Oh, so you're here,” Lu Feng said, his voice filled with mockery. “I thought you would hide your face after embarrassing yourself earlier. Turns out you were stupid enough to remain visible.”

Chen Wu tried to stand up, but his body was too weak. Before he could say anything, Lu Feng approached him and threw a heavy kick at his stomach. Chen Wu fell back to the ground, his breath ragged.

"You should know your place, trash," Lu Feng spat on the ground. "You have no right to be here, let alone dirty our clan's name."

Chen Wu tried to get up again, but what he received was a punch in the face, followed by their laughter.

"This is to make you learn, Chen Wu," said Lu Feng. "Learning that someone like you could never stand on equal footing with us."

They beat him without mercy. Blood started flowing from his mouth and nose, but Chen Wu did not scream. He doesn't give them that satisfaction. Instead, he just stared at them blankly, as if his physical pain no longer mattered.

In the fog of pain, something strange happened. A voice whispered in his head, like an echo from a distant world.

"Rise, Chen Wu. Don't let them walk all over you."

Chen Wu furrowed his brows, trying to understand the voice. The sound didn't come from anyone around him. It came from within him.

"Your blood is stronger than theirs. Let me help you."

“I…” Chen Wu muttered weakly. "Who are you?"

there was no answer, just energy starting to flow through his body. The energy was cold and dark, like the eerie shadows of night. The wounds on his body felt hot, as if something was boiling in his blood. The youths around him stopped laughing.

"Hey, what happened to him?" one of them asked, his voice starting to sound panicked.

A pitch black aura began to envelop Chen Wu's body. The air around them became heavy, cold, and tense. Chen Wu slowly got up, although his body was still covered in wounds. his eyes, which were previously weak, now glowed dark red like burning embers in the middle of the night.

“You guys want to destroy me?” he said in a deep voice, almost unlike himself. "Now it's your turn."

Lu Feng and company stepped back in fear. "Chen Wu, what the hell?!" Lu Feng exclaimed.

Chen Wu moved at an impossible speed. Before they could react, he threw a punch at one of them, sending the young man flying several meters until he hit a tree. The others tried to escape, but Chen Wu caught them with strength he never had before.

Lu Feng tried to fight back, but Chen Wu stopped him with one hand. He grabbed Lu Feng by the collar, lifting him off the ground easily. Lu Feng's eyes widened, his face pale.

"Chen Wu... mercy! I was wrong!" Lu Feng begged, his voice trembling.

Chen Wu looked at him coldly, but inside, he felt something unfamiliar. the dark energy whispered, pushing him to destroy Lu Feng, to take revenge for all the humiliation he received.

However, another voice emerged, softer but firm.

"Don't let yourself sink into darkness. Prove that you are more than them."

Chen Wu clenched his fists, then let go of Lu Feng. The young man fell to the ground, shaking with fear.

“Go,” Chen Wu said, his voice cold and calm again. "And don't ever come near me again."

Lu Feng didn't need to be told twice. He got up and ran away with the rest of his strength, followed by his friends who were still able to move.

When they left, the dark aura around Chen Wu slowly disappeared. His body weakened again, but he remained standing. He looked at his hands, which still felt hot from the mysterious energy.

On the river surface, the shadow was no longer weak. He saw a different figure—a figure that had just been born from the darkness. That night, Chen Wu realized that he was no longer a "trash." something inside him had awakened, something that no one could ever control.

"Chen Wu!" He turned around and found a girl standing in the distance. The girl's face glistened in the morning light, with long flowing black hair. And I think this is just the beginning of something big.” Mei Lin was about to answer, but a roar from the direction of the cave stopped them. Chen Wu successfully passed the test and now seems to have mastered the power within him. Very great power." Zhao Long turned his chair around, his sharp eyes staring at the map of the Tianlong Clan territory spread out on the table. "Great power?" He laughed softly, his tone calculating.
