Chen Wu stood in the middle of the ruins, the dark aura surrounding him growing denser. A cold wind blew, carrying the scent of blood and death. His body trembled, not because of fear, but because of the incredible power flowing wildly within him. it felt like an uncontrollable storm, hitting every part of his body.

The surviving enemies retreated slowly, their faces ashen. They could feel something terrifying radiating from Chen Wu. That energy was no ordinary energy—it carried a bone-chilling coldness and an inexplicable sense of dread.

"Who... who is he now?" whispered one of the trembling enemy soldiers, his hand weakly gripping his sword.

a leader of an enemy army tries to show courage. He stepped forward, raised his greatsword, and shouted, “He is just a child who lost control! Destroy him now!”

Chen Wu slowly raised his head, looking at the man with shining red eyes. without another word, he stepped forward. With a movement of his hand, a wave of dark energy swept through the army in front of him.

Boom!

The ground beneath their feet cracked, and their bodies were thrown around like dolls that had lost their lives. their screams echoed, but nothing could stop Chen Wu now.

The remaining enemies started to flee. Those who previously felt that victory was in their hands have now turned into people who are stricken with fear. However, Chen Wu had no intention of just letting them go.

"Run? After you took everything from me?” Chen Wu's voice was low, but enough to echo throughout the battlefield. “There's no place for you guys to hide.”

he clenched his fist, and black energy gathered around him, forming a dark spear that floated in the air. With one movement, he threw the spear towards the running enemy troops.

Boom!

The spear hit the ground, exploding with fierce power. dozens of bodies fell without even having time to scream. The energy was like hellfire, burning everything it touched to ashes.

Chen Wu stepped forward, one by one the enemy's wounded bodies became a new source of strength for him. He touched their heads, absorbing their energy without hesitation. With each life taken, his power grew greater, but the darkness within him also deepened.

As he finished the attack, the voice in his head spoke again.

"Good, Chen Wu. with this power, nothing can stop you. Absorb it all. Absorb this world."

Chen Wu fell silent, looking at his hands which were now glowing darkly with the newly absorbed energy. He felt strong, but also empty.

Mei Lin...

the image of Mei Lin's gently smiling face appeared in his mind. Her final voice, filled with hope, continued to echo in his heart.

"Don't let your hatred destroy you..."

Chen Wu shook his head, trying to chase away the sound, but he knew it was futile. "I have no choice, Mei Lin..." he muttered, as if talking to the girl's spirit. "I have to do this. I have to destroy them."

He raised his gaze to the battlefield. Ahead, he saw a figure he knew well: Tian Xian, the leader of the army leading this attack. Tian Xian stood calmly, his long sword gleaming under the firelight. His gaze was cold and full of confidence.

“I have to admit,” said Tian Xian with a mocking smile. "You've turned into something interesting. But it's not enough to beat me."

Chen Wu didn't answer. He stepped forward, each step destroying the ground beneath him. The wind around him swirled, bringing dust and rock fragments into the air.

“You will pay for what you did,” Chen Wu said coldly, his eyes burning with hatred.

Tian Xian chuckled. “You think with this newfound power you can fight me? Your power is nothing more than a curse. look at you—you look more like a monster than a human now.”

Chen Wu didn't care. He raised his hand, and dark energy gathered around him, forming a huge sword that looked like it was created from shadow and fire. He gripped the sword tightly, and with one swift movement, he shot towards Tian Xian.

The battle between them began, Chen Wu's sword met Tian Xian's sword, creating an energy explosion that shook the battlefield. The sound of clanking swords and explosions continued to sound, shaking the ground beneath them.

Chen Wu felt anger and pain burning with every swing of his sword. Every attack he unleashed was filled with deep hatred. However, Tian Xian was not an easy enemy. He parried every attack calmly, even striking back with incredible strength.

"Chen Wu, look at you!" shouted Tian Xian in the middle of the battle. "That power will destroy you! Don't you realize you've lost control?"

Chen Wu didn't answer. He only swung his sword with more force, forcing Tian Xian to retreat. However, in his heart, he knew Tian Xian was not completely wrong. This power… this energy… was getting the better of him.

Mei Lin... the girl's voice was heard again, but this time it was fainter, as if far away.

“Don't let yourself sink, Chen Wu…”

The fight continues, but in Chen Wu's heart, a greater war is underway—between his hatred and the remains of his humanity. one thing is certain, this battle is not only about revenge, but also about saving himself before he truly becomes an uncontrollable monster.
