Chapter 17

David woke up the next day and saw that he was in a strange room, lying down on a bed.

“Where am I?” David asked himself while looking around, trying to figure out where he was.

“You’re in the academy’s infirmary,” said a voice.

David then turned around and saw a woman standing not too far away from him.

“I’m Boma, the academy’s healer,” said the woman.

“What happened, why am I here?” said David.

“You are here because Araban found you after hearing an explosion come from the Temple of The Golden Dragon Warrior. And as for why you’re here, well nobody can answer that but you” said Boma.

David then took breath before he began to remember what happened the other night.

He remembered going to the temple and touching its door, after that he remembered feeling a strange power flow through his entire body but everything after that was blurry and unclear.

Boma then quickly examined David’s body to see if he was alright.
