White Dragon Key

Candaka is still curious about what happened earlier. He clearly saw the Dark Mist approaching him but as he was pulled away by the red dragon's shadow, he didn't see any Black Mist chasing him all the way to the Inn. Besides, why wasn't the dragon shadow afraid of being swallowed up by the Black Mist?

He briefly remembered his dream, earlier wasn't he entering the same black forest as the one in his dream? Why did the previously beautiful and green forest turn into a black forest as soon as he entered it. Even though he feels that many strange things have happened to him while he is in this village, Candaka does not give up trying to find out all the answers to the mysteries in this village.

“Everything is a mystery in this village. The people also have secrets that do not want to be disclosed. Not to mention that the areas around this village are terrifying and unacceptable to reason," Candaka's thoughts made him even more dizzy and tired.

Without him realizing it as soon as his body touched the mattress at the inn, he immediately fell into a deep sleep. Not long ago he felt asleep suddenly he heard a woman's voice calling him.

"Hey, dirty man who doesn't have the balls, if you dare to come out now...!!!" a voice came from outside the inn but it was so clear in his ears.

"What dream am I having again?"

"Come out, Candaka Nagaswera...!!!" a woman's voice shouted again. This time he mentioned Candaka's full name which he had never told anyone. "How come this crazy woman out there knows my full name?" thought Candaka.

“Hey crazy girl, just come back tomorrow, it's still night. Many wild Black Mist devoured the humans present. I don't want to go out, it's dangerous ... Understood ...!!!” shouted Candaka annoyed.

"Hey, I helped you earlier. You just take it seriously," the mysterious woman giggled because she felt she could play Candaka.

Candaka was silent for a moment. Was it true that the woman screaming outside the inn was the same as the image of the red dragon that had helped her? If true, it meant that she was ungrateful because she had not had the chance to thank her for saving her life from the Black Forest that was about to swallow her alive.

"Do you want to go out, Brother, Candaka?" This time the woman's voice was smoother.

Candaka gradually felt uneasy, but he remembered that it was still night and there was still the Black Mist hanging around. “You go home first, I'm afraid we'll meet the Black Mist later. Don't you see the Black Mist now in this village?” asked Candaka curiously.

“I was sent by grandfather to give this Dragon Key to you in order to obtain the First Dragon Scripture. Grandpa said he often sees you in his dreams,“ continued the woman.

"There is no Black Mist Brother, it's just scary stories from the villagers. The proof is that I'm fine not being swallowed up by the Black Mist,” he continued.

"Who are you, how come you know so much about me. I just don't know who you are!" Candaka is a bit suspicious and cautious because the woman could be a Devil incarnate in the Dark Mist trying to get rid of him.

"I'm Jayanti Brother, my handsome one, hihihi!" the sound of giggles sounded again, which for Candaka sounded scary on this quiet night. The strange thing was that no one either at the inn or around the inn woke up even though this woman's voice was very noisy, let alone her laugh which sounded scary in Candaka's ears.

“If it's true that you brought the Dragon Key, just put it under the plant pot in front of the Inn and I'll check it tomorrow. I never dreamed of this Dragon Key so I still don't trust you enough,” joked Candaka politely.

"Yes, if you don't want to, I'll report to Grandpa if you refuse his help," answered the woman casually.

"Just report it, anyways I don't know your grandpa either ..!!!" Candaka is starting to get annoyed too.

What if this turns out to be just a dream, not a real event. Had it occurred to him. He pinched his hand as tight as he could but he didn't wake up. So this isn't a dream? But why did he feel that he wasn't in the same Inn Room when he fell asleep earlier. After all, it was impossible that no one would wake up hearing the screams of the woman earlier because as far as he knew, this inn was very crowded with visitors. Why is there no Black Mist outside even though it's still night?

Candaka held his head with both hands a sign of the confusion that hit him. In the past, his life was simple and simple when he was with his mother in the capital, why is his life so complicated like this now? If he knew it was like this, it was better for him to just stay in the Capital. Although begging there but he is not as dizzy as now.

"Hello, is there still anyone there?" the woman's voice called again.

"You just take this key Brother Candaka, otherwise I will be completely scolded by grandfather. I already helped you before, why don't you want to help me now?”

Eventually, Candaka became curious about Jayanti's whereabouts, who didn't want to leave until she came out and received the Dragon Key. Reluctantly he got up and walked out of his room. "Wait a minute, I'll meet you outside," he replied.

Candaka is starting to get fed up with playing the mystery game of the Book of Dragons, if that woman was the incarnation of a devil, so be it. If he came out and was swallowed up by the Dark Mist it might be his fate. While thinking, Candaka opened the door of the inn.

There was no Black Mist that the villagers were afraid of. The street in front of the inn was silent, only a woman in a red dress with a rag covering her face was there.

This woman turned out to be petite. Even though she is petite, she is not a weak woman. A sizable sword slung across his back. joked that he had seen this sword but he forgot when and where exactly.

Candaka's heart was pounding for fear that this woman wasn't human, but her worries were dispelled when this woman held out the Dragon Key to her. It is called the Dragon Key because the key made of this rare metal is engraved with a White Dragon that squirms as if it is dancing.

"Thank you Brother for coming to see me. So we broke even  ..!!!” shouted Jayanti who immediately waved her hand and disappeared from Candaka's sight in an instant before Candaka realized it.

Candaka is still stunned listening to what really happened. What is the function of this Dragon Key, why was it handed over to him. Who is Jayanti really, why has she never seen him in this village. There were still many question marks in his head but suddenly he felt sleepy and fell asleep on the floor.

Candaka woke up startled when the sunlight shone through his bedroom window. "It turns out I'm dreaming again?" thought Candaka. When his eyes began to get used to looking around his room, it seemed that there was a key engraved with a dragon lying on his bed. "So yesterday's incident was real? If it's real, who took him back to his room?" His brain kept thinking without any resolution.

"It's good that I went to see Isyana, maybe she knows this woman who claims to be named Jayanti," Candaka smiled, happy to get an idea because his mind had been stuck all along.
