Chapter six:New motivation(Revenge)

The first thing you need to understand when it comes to dealing with drug cartels is that the things that motivate them is the same as what motivates any other ordinary business,the profit but the only thing that set them apart from each other is the fact that the drug dealers are willing to do absolutely anything to get what they want. To live in this kind of world,your heart must be as hard as stone because at any moment,you either have to kill or may end up being killed by somebody.

Years ago,when i first joined the cartel it was first known as "La Murete cartel",which signified death.For every new members who joined the cartel,we were made to learn ten laws which served as a guide to running the syndicate.

1.keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

2.Choose your customers wisely.

3.Choose your employees wisely.

4.Eliminate competition.

5.perfect your process.

6.Be bold.

7.Know your product.

8.Be loyal

9.Big risk,big rewards.

10.Never take a knife to a gun fight.

This laws seemed easy,but standing by it took a lot of guts and effort,and that why i knew that if i wanted to bring Vandel down for good,i needed to be strong willed and have a good strategy or else i would be digging my own grave.

Firstly,i needed to get information about what Vandel had been up to this past few years,but how was i supposed to do that,i couldn't just go around asking for information about him,because that would just be inviting trouble to myself .I needed to find someone inside Vandel's organization who had all the information i needed and would be willing to talk.

After thinking for a while,i finally remembered someone who might just be able to give me the information i need to destroy Vandel.It was none other than Fabio De Akhursta,he was one of The most cunning and manipulative member of the cartel.

Apart from that,he was also very greedy and disloyal,back then,he was in charge of distributing the drugs,he always found a way to keep part of the profits to himself.The only thing he was loyal to was money and he could betray anyone even those he consider family as long as money was involved. I needed to find him as soon as possible.

I stood up from the couch where i was seated,took my car keys from the table,entered my car and started to drive to "La faena cantinas".It was one of the popular bar at El Paso.They were well known for their cocktails and exceptional services as far as i could remember,fabio was one of the many customers who frequents that bar.

After driving for half an hour,i finally arrived.I found a space to park my car before entering into the bar.It was very crowded and filled with a lot of people,the bar was spacious and beautifully decorated,there was loud music every where as some people were singing and dancing,some were drinking and other were busy amusing themselves with some board and betting games.

I headed straight for the front bar where the bar tender was serving drinks to some of the customers.

"Good day madam".I greeted trying to get her attention.

"Welcome to LA faena cantinas,which of our services would you like to receive".She asked giving me a flirty smile.

"Uhm.......no,am not here for that kind of service,actually i came here today because i was hoping to find someone"I replied.

"Ohhh.....is that so,and who exactly might you be looking for".She asked.

"Fabio De Akhursta".i replied

"Fabio De Akursta.............yes,i remember him,he is one of our loyal customer but why exactly are you looking for him".She asked looking at me very suspiciously.

"I just have some important issues that i need to discuss with him that's all".i replied hoping to convince her.

"Am sorry sir, but i can't help you,we are not allowed to discuss any information about our clients to anyone,have a good day".She said as she turned to leave.

"Wait......will this be enough to convince you to talk".I said dropping some money on the bar head.She quickly took the money and hid it inside her purse.

"Well,there isn't much that i can tell you about him,but word has it that he's into some really shady business,he comes here once in every two days and spends a lot of money drinking and partying, if you are lucky enough,he might just come in today".She said.

"Do you by any chance know where he lives".I asked.

"Excuse me sir,but this is a bar not a cleaning agency,and so,i am not entitled to know the house address of my clients".She replied sarcastically.

"Alright then,thanks for the info,and i hope that what we discussed today will stay between us".I said.

"Don't worry handsome,your secret is safe with me".She said winking at me as she returned back to her work.

I left the the bar area and found a table to sit,hoping that fabio will show up today

I ordered a bottle of Estrella jasico as i continued waiting.After about four hours of waiting,fabio finally showed up,he wasn't alone as he was accompanied by three other men.

They sat at one of the high tables and ordered for beer,they drank for hours until they were completely wasted.When it was evening time,he stood up to leave,he could barely stand on his own,he kept staggering back and forth as he had drank too much .He went out of the bar and i followed.

He got into a taxi and the driver began to drive.I quickly entered my car and followed him until we finally got to his house.After dropping him off,the taxi left.He unlocked the door and entered into his room.I came down from my car and silently opened the door to his house.He was fast asleep in his couch.In this state of mind,he wouldn't be able to give me the information i needed so,i decided to let him sober up first before asking him any questions.I silently left the house,entered my car and drove back home.
