He stepped over the disfigured paper, lowered himself and pulled out a butterfly from his sleeve. Knife, a sharp cut in the painting of the twisted monster girl, mixed clumps issued a "snort" ear-splitting sound.

The paper flew in all directions, and the red hue of stars appeared, red paint seeped out from the cracks and flowed into the ground, like bleeding.

Zachary was close enough to smell it by breathing, and it was indeed human blood.
