Zachary protested, "I'm a VIP guest in this restaurant."

"A VIP guest?" Ava snorted, "I've never seen you here before."

Zachary faced Ava and replied, "Yes, that may be true, but it doesn't mean I'm not a VIP guest. This is my first visit here, but I have a close relationship with the owner."

One of Ava's friends interrupted, "Please, we're not going to believe that."

"You're always pretending to be someone you're not, Zachary. You act like you're wealthy and know all these famous people. It's getting old," Tyller, one of Ava's friends, said.

The waiter appeared hesitant, looking uncertain. "I don't remember seeing you here, sir. I can't confirm your status as a VIP guest."

Zachary grew impatient, "Just check your records, please."

The waiter nodded and went to check. Meanwhile, Ava and her friends continued to giggle and throw cruel remarks.

Ava smirked, "Looks like someone's trying too hard."
