As of the moment, Daemon only knows of two methods of getting skills. The first is by finishing quests. This is how Daemon got his first three skills.

Then there’s the second method. The one which Astaroth introduced to Dameon without his consent and, a much more troublesome source of power as well. That is, getting a skill from a demon – the method he used to gain access to [Martial Understanding] as well as the linked skill [Martial Body].

That’s why Dameon already knows where his conversation with Astaroth is going. He hasn’t finished any other quest than the one that gave him five extra status points. That leaves him with the only other choice where skills can come from. Another deal with another demon.
