Mountain of Corpses III

The dead silence of the night filled the vipers with a sort of fear and terror for their own lives. They’re used to this but, in that moment, these elements feel almost foreign to them. As if they’re entering into a new domain. One which they have never entered their whole lives. One which cradles all of their nightmares.

This is caused by the crossfire that happened between Daemon and the other vipers. It wouldn’t feel horrific for them if not for the fact that, the vipers who engaged in the crossfire never made contact with them. This can mean a range of things. From having no signal, to having their devices destroyed, to being too wounded or caught up in the fight that they can’t communicate. But the one probable cause that keeps surfacing to the top of everyone’s head is the possibility that, these vipers in question are already dead.
