Five days have passed. Within this time, Derek’s group has been carefully crafting their plan in order to kill Daemon. That is all that they came here for after all. With the weekends soon approaching they will finally get their chance into doing this.Naturally, it is Lee who is the most excited and thrilled. This teen has been waiting for his chance to have a go at Daemon after all. That’s the only reason he agreed to go along with this mission and, the same reason why he decided to goa long with Desmond’s plans.Though now that it is slowly getting closer and closer, Lee is getting more and more impatient. Each passing day, the only thing that you’d hear coming out of his mouth is how he wants to fight Daemon already. He talks about how he wants to do this as soon as possible so that he can show that he is superior in terms of fighting. All while him gaining the thrill from the bouts as well.Nevertheless, Derek decided that they should wait. After all, this whole ordeal has been c
The day of the mission’s execution finally came. Derek stayed in the rooftop, making sure that everything else is set before Daemon gets to the appointed destination. They all focused on their own roles and, frankly speaking, there was a bit of trouble with Lee who engaged with Bellatrix and almost fought her. This happened while Daemon was also with the said female so that could’ve led to something that none of the other four wanted.Thankfully, probably through some divine intervention, Lee didn’t push through with this act of stupidity. He stopped right before committing anything that’s irreparable for the mission. With that out of the way, everything proceeded flawlessly through the leadership of Derek. That being said, Derek is now waiting for everyone else to come at the rooftop. It’s almost time for Daemon’s execution but none of his four allies are there yet. Something that causes him a bit of worry especially since none of them are also answering their phones. The problem wit
A long stretch of silence surrounded Derek and Daemon. The eyes of Derek’s enemy is still stuck on his. Gazing at him as if seeing through his lies. He can feel the cold becoming all too personal. Touching his skin and digging through it violently. He felt his lungs seemingly begin lacking air. He can also feel his throat drying up. There are beads of sweat that are beginning to form all over his skin and, he can’t stop some of his fingers from trembling. Forcing him to clench them into a fist so as to hide this.Derek’s caught. He doesn’t know how something like this is possible with how meticulous he’s been throughout the whole week but, it seems that Daemon’s caught on somehow. Yet, even though this is the case, he still decided to feign ignorance. After all, as long as there’s no evidence, there’s no proof of the claim that Daemon is making.“What are you talking about Daemon?” He said. “Why don’t we just go back to eating huh? You shouldn’t joke about stuff like that. I don’t wan
One thing that Daemon didn’t lie about is the time limit. As soon as thirty minutes pass, the thing that’s stopping any signal and electricity from running in that building will stop. This limitation isn’t, by any means, the fault of Daemon’s ally, Cypher. No. In fact, Cypher can extend this hacking for as long as half a day’s worth of time. However, there are various reasons why they didn’t do this. The first is because, anything longer than thirty minutes will get the attention of the authority that handles the school. Inevitably, this will lead to the signal being traced back to the source. Meaning that Cypher would be found out and, Daemon can’t have something like this happening. The second is because, Daemon doesn’t actually need this much time. Not at all. Thirty minutes is more than enough for what he needs to happen. That is, to kill every member of Derek’s team – all five of them. Daemon didn’t show any mercy to these guys. Or perhaps he actually did.Though he did make Dere
The night is still young just as Daemon said. There is room for him to do a couple of things and, this is probably for the best. If he doesn’t act fast, then his enemies will be able to catch on to the news the following day. As soon as it spreads that the five transferees suddenly vanished, it would be close to impossible for him to make any moves any time soon.He can’t have this. It’s too early for Daemon to give up and, that is the reason why he has now come up with a plan for his revenge to continue flawlessly again. In fact, this is an idea that’s already floating in his head, even before he began the execution of the five transferees. That is, taking down the main target of the quest itself – Damian Silvers.Normally this would be impossible for Daemon to do. With everything that’s going on, it’d be safe to assume that Damian Silvers would be on his guard. But Dameon knows that nothing can be farther from the truth because, it is this very same appearance of the five transferee
“Finally awake?”These are the first words that Daemon heard along with a painful ringing that ruptures his ears. A nausea quickly ran up his skull. Literally. The pain went up to his brain resembling the puncturing of a thousand needles – more than enough pain to make him scream.“AHHHHHHH!”This is so unbearable that Daemon began to lose consciousness. But right before he’s swallowed by darkness, the sharp pain went away. All of these to be exact as he’s left in a half-conscious state.“Sorry about that, I forgot to turn off the pain receptors. You’re not supposed to feel alright in hell after all.” Daemon heard this loud and clear. Though in a half-conscious state, he can somehow hear the words being said to him clearly. It took him a while to regain full consciousness. Around ten minutes in human time. Within this period, he’s just left on the ground without anyone caring for him. A state he’s been used to all his life and one that he despises. That’s why he got to his feet right
“Where the f*ck are you?”The voice came from over the phone. Frankly speaking, Grant doesn’t enjoy listening to anyone nag to him. That’s why he turned the volume down. Just enough for him to barely hear what the person on the other end of the line is saying.“Good God Yvonne, how many men did you tag to me?” Grant answered nonchalantly as he looked around him. Trying to find anyone suspiciously looking at him.“You have the nerve to answer back to me like that?” The woman named Yvonne answered. “Go back to the suite you idiot."“Relax, will you?” Grant answered. “We’re not even in any real trouble, right? Even if that trash Daemon is dead, there’s no way that it’d cause any issues.”“Why are you talking like that…you fucking…are you drunk?”Grant chuckled. “Caught me reh handed.”“You idiot! We can’t fuck this up. You know that Christian’s father’s candidacy is on the line here. We can’t afford any mistakes.”“I’m not making any mistakes though. If anything, you guys are the ones ma
Daemon passed through the rooftop’s door and left it slightly ajar. As soon as he did, the student fell to his knees. His fingers are still trembling and his whole body feels cold and hot at the same time. A sensation that shouldn’t even be possible and yet there he is. He would’ve even thrown up if not for him stopping himself.“This is a lot more nerve wrecking than I thought.” Daemon muttered to himself as he forced his body to get ack up. An attempt that proved to be unsuccessful right away. There’s just no energy left in his legs after what he just did. Even with all the cocky talk he had with Astaroth about being ready to kill, in the end, he’s also human. Inflicted by the same plagues of morality that will eventually make it harder for him to extract the next parts of his revenge.“I didn’t even have to kill him directly but I’m already left in this state.” Daemon chuckled. “I’m so pathetic.”He really wanted to push Grant off the rooftop. He did. But he just doesn’t have enoug
