Joseph felt blessed. He swiftly prepared for work and got to his office in time to start his day. Friday night.Friday night was all Angela thought of. She couldn't even count the total number of times she had typed 'Friday night' on her laptop before erasing the phrase and typing the right thing.As she worked, she thought of what her friday night would look like. Would Joseph surprise her beyond her expectations? Or would they just have a soggy boring spaghetti as they listened to some outdated song?In all honesty, she wished Joseph would swoon her off her feet. She wished that he would prepare something special for them both. It was a date afterall! Or isn't it?Friday afternoon, Angela left work with a silly excuse about a running nose, she was even surprised that her boss let her go. The man had sent her away with a; "Alright dear. Fyodor swallowed the lump in his throat and clenched his fist. His heart rate was no doubt too fast and he felt like his heart might leap out of his ribcage. His palms, sweaty. He wondered how he was still able to clench his fist when the surfaces should be sliding over one another due to the lack of friction.In all honesty, he was nervous. He had never been this nervous all his life. He just hoped another rejection wouldn't be coming in contact with his wounded pride anytime soon.
