Ethan calmly walked back to his desk without looking at the confused Nina.

He had made sure to take the elevator used by everyone in the office.

He didn’t want to arouse any suspicion. After all, he almost got caught not long ago by Flora.

Who called to check up on him again after not seeing him at the company’s cafeteria.

“Where have you been? I almost got caught sneaking in some sandwich “ Nina complained.

“I went out a bit," he replied calmly and took his seat.

“Out of the company?” she asked, confused , why he went out to eat.

Ethan was smart to get the full story about this and decided to just go with the flow.

After all, he came back with an elevator and, understandably, he should have had such a good excuse.

“Yeah, I went to eat outside ," he lied without any reaction.

“That’s bad, the company has all that we need here. There is no need for you to go out and have lunch” Nina complained about it with a bitter face.
