Chapter 26 She was uncomfortable

Kate had something to do and left, and Dan also gave an excuse that he had something very important to discuss with her.

Ethan just shook his hands to show that they can leave.

As soon as they got out, he saw the worried look on her face.

“You don’t have to worry about me, I’m okay “ she said as she tried to put on a not-so-worried look.

Seeing the fake smile on her face, Dan felt more uncomfortable.

He knew she was going through a lot at the moment.

“I’m off, I would see you guys back at the mansion."

And without another word she left.

Dan sighed and sat as he took his head. He stuck at the entrance for a while and then looked behind him.

Standing at the door, one couldn’t see the worried look on his face.

He closed his eyes and grief to keep his emotions in check.

He knew he had to keep himself from doing something he knew he would regret.

As he turned around, he conceived his emotion. And he was back to normal

It looked like the worried look on his face was just an illusion.
